Bridge to Algebra and Algebra I classes

What a crazy week!!! We are busy this week preparing our portfolios for our amazing Celebration of Learning on Thursday and Friday. As a result, I am postponing our dinner party assignment (Bridge to Algebra) until Monday, Nov. 19th. Students have been reviewing their assessments and projects to include in their showcase portfolios. They are looking forward to showing you what they have learned during their first quarter at Aveson.

During the Student Led Conferences, there will be small white boards and dry erase markers at each table, along with sample problems, to allow students the opportunity to demonstrate their learning first hand. Additionally, don't forget to go by the Foyer in the Cafeteria to see all of the student created "Stained Glass" windows.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you on Thursday & Friday.
